PHOTOSHOP
We are looking for experience Photoshop individuals to assist in creating background layouts and photo templates.
Must be familiar with how Layers, Mask, Paste Into and actions work. Some work may be available for you to do at your own home.
Once the backgrounds or templates are created we need people to assemble the picture packages in Photoshop and save them to be printed by the lab.
Internships available for those taking graphic arts classes.
STILL PHOTOGRAPHER
We are looking for qualified individuals, with an interest in photography to be Independent Contract Photographers for our still photography division.
We are active in Southern Louisiana and the Gulf Coast region. Depending on client needs, assignments are available for afternoons, evenings, and/or
weekends. We do not do "Studio Portraits", at this time, but work on location, where the teams/groups practice or compete. A background in photography, and
35 MM camera handling is a must. A portfolio of at least 10 shots is helpful.
Camera equipment required for this position include:
Professional Digital SLR camera (minimum Canon 20D, Nikon D70 or similar)
28/35-70/80 zoom lens
Dedicated TTL flash unit with an external battery pack, flash bracket, and camera-to-flash cable

ACTION PHOTOGRAPHER
We are looking for sport action photographers to be independent contractors, in our sports action division. Candidates must have prior sport action
photography experience. We would like to see examples of a candidate's work but a formal portfolio is not necessary. We photograph various high school
and youth sports. Including but not limited to football, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, and wrestling.
Camera equipment needed for this position include:
Professional Digital SLR camera (minimum Canon 20D, Nikon D70 or similar)
70-200MM lens and/or 300MM lens - 1.4x or 2.0x tele-extender would be useful, but is not required
Dedicated TTL flash unit, flash bracket, camera-to flash cable, battery pack for the flash unit
Professional Mono Pod
PHOTOGRAPHER ASSISTANT
Assist photographer to make sure that picture day runs smooth and efficient. Your job duties will include (but not limited to)
1) Helping the photographer set up the photo area (lights, signage, form tables, etc..)
2) Set up the person to have their picture taken. Make sure they are in the correct pose. Record the picture numbers on the envelope or form.
3) Get the next person in line ready to have their picture taken.
OFFICE HELP
Must be flexible with hours, some work available on weekends for those interested in supplementing their full time job..
Must be willing to learn, assist staff, and be a quick worker. Casual environment - no customer contact involved typically.
Job duties include, Order entry, order fulfillment and packaging.
Other duties can include computer work including sending picture notifications thru email.
All of the above positions are for Part/Time contract work, which is typically seasonal. If you are interested, you will work for MillerFoto as an independent
contractor and must sign our independent contractor agreement. All copyrights and All original images (digital, film or printed form) are retained by MillerFoto.
Original Digital Files or Negative Copies MAY NOT be retained by Contract Photographers. Printed copies may be used in a portfolio as long as the MillerFoto
